With the continuous development of our society, the geological hazards causes great economic loss and casualties every year, which restricts the economic development of our country seriously. Especially after the Wenchuan earthquake, the massive geological hazards has been initiated and bred, which bring the serious damage for local and peripheral road. Therefore, it is very urgent and important that the risk of geological hazards are estimated and regionalized on the Yalu highway in active fault zone. With the current research on geological hazards domestic and abroad, the present paper rely on the Sichuan Traffic Department research item "Study on initiation mechanisms countermeasures of debris flows along highway in active fault zone ", which based on the research background of the geological hazards along the Yalu highway. This paper studies on the risk assessment and regionalization of the geological hazards in the striated engineering, in order to guide the practice with the academic research and provide the technological support to the prevention of the highway's geological hazards in active fault zone. The main work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1,Based on the analyses of research on the geological hazards domestic and abroad, the environmental geology is described ,meanwhile the geological hazards' type, distributive characterization and the breeding hazards' environment are studied in this paper by field survey and data analysis along the Yalu highway in active fault zone.2,In order to search the suitable method to the geological hazards assessment, the present paper taked the geological hazards of the Yalu highway as the research object, the avalanches are carried on the risk assessment based on the improvable pessimistic cluster method, and the landslides are carried on the risk assessment in the Matlab of the BP neural network model. Moreover, this paper proposed the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on rough sets and grey theory in the debris flow risk appraisal,so as to discuss and rich the methods of the geology hazard's assessment on the striated engineering. 3,This paper used the target analysis method to construct the basic index system for comprehensive risk evaluation of geological hazards in active fault zone, definited the criterion of the evaluation factor and given the criterion value of the corresponding factor. The extenics theory based on analytic hierarchy process is carried on the risky regionalization to the Yalu highway for the first time. The study of the results are accorded with the practical investigative disastrous conditions.It is a new attempt to risk comprehensive assessment of geological hazards for the striated engineering and have preferable practicability. It can become the reference to the risk assessment of geological hazards for the striated engineering in the futrue.
