Large rotating machinery is the key equipment in the production process of the chemical industry, metallurgy, mining and other enterprises, and its operation status affects production of enterprises directly, it is more and more important to fault monitoring for its operation status online or timing. Lots of mechanical faults are reflected through abnormal mechanical vibration,mechanical vibration signals are often used as essential information of status monitoring and diagnosis for the equipments. It shows that the development of powerful portable vibration signal monitoring device with high reliability is of great significance. The system which based on DSP and CPLD develops the portable vibration signal monitor meter to realize many kinds of different characteristic revolving machinery carring on the fault monitor and the diagnosis.Firstly, this paper carries on demonstrating to system design, including the system function and the technical specifications expected, then carrying on the overall design based on this.Secondly, this paper designs the overall system hardware architecture, the whole system hardware circuit mainly includes two parts: signal pre-processing circuit and DSP signal processing circuit. The signal pretreatment part has been designed using one kind of program-controlled adjustable vibration signal pretreatment circuit, which can control Electric circuit parameter through CPLD and realize system regulation. The system realizes the complete cycle sampling using the phase-locked loop design. It designs the memory,I/O,A/D and some peripheral expand circuit based on TMSVC3205410 in the DSP signal processing par. The system is of flexibility and versatility.Then, this paper has discussed the signal analysis method for vibration monitoring, has studied the application of Fourier transformation and the wavelet transformation in signal processing, Has carried on the early design to the entire software which includes logical design of pre-processing circuit of the vibration signal, the initialization of the DSP processing system and the realization of the Fourier transformation in DSP. Finally, it has carried on the static test to the overall system, gathered the vibrated acceleration signal and made simulation to the time-frequency analysis at existing equipment's situation in the laboratory.This paper explains the place which needs to be consummated, also proposes some forecasts because of having completed this system's early period design at present.
