The SCADA system is the most important tools to monitor the running status of the power grid, it is the approach to access the power grid's running information and data for the power corporation too. To guarantee the SCADA system and the power grid running safety, it is essential to transmit the abnormal massage of the SCADA system and the abnormal information of the power grid running status to the related employee on time. And the Power Grid SCADA Information Expression and Query System Based-on SMS (Short-Message-System) Platform is to satisfy the above requirement for the power grid related person.The sub-system is a module of the Power SCADA system. The subsystem uses the short-message service supplied by the mobile communication service as the platform to send the classified and filtered SCADA system's information to the dedicated mobile phone. The subsystem can make the user grasp the real-time information of the power grid easily at any moment in different place via using the public SMS. It can speed up the efficiency for restoring the power grid's abnormal accident. Also, the system has the environment for the customer to do second software development so that the customers can customize the information according to their requirement. The system can improve the operation efficiency and reduce the labor intension for the operator.There are three phases for developing the system: survey, development and test. The system requirement is based on the customer surveying, the module structure and function of the system is tightly fitted to the customer's requirement. The system has passed the user's certification after one year of development and site running testing.
