Turbine Spring Vibration Isolator For Seismic Performance Test Study

Through building a 1:10 model of spring vibration isolated turbine-generator foundation, this paper study it by modal test. When used spring vibration, the dynamics property is changed. It is necessary to evaluate the whole earthquake resistance of spring vibration isolated turbine-generator foundation.Vibration isolated part is the key of the foundation. Test its mechanical properties and other experiments to guarantee accuracy of the model test.First, based on the model test according to similarity theory, the dynamics property including frequency, shape and damping ratio is obtained. Meanwhile the characteristic of frequency and shape is analyzied. The test result is compared with ANSYS and dynamic computation results of STARDYNE. The result shows vibration isolated part is right. The purpose of vibration isolated design is achieved. The common unit running environment is optimized.Second, the displacement, acceleration and restoring force time-history curve of the foundation 7 degree the usual and rarely met earthquake is obtained by the pseudo-dynamic test. The stain of many parts is tested. Hysteresisloop under the earthquake is obtained by the pseudo-dynamic software. The position and development of cracks is observed in the experiment. The horizon deformation of the spring and story drift is computed by the statistcs after the experiment.The foundation works well under seismic ground motions, Story drift of structure is satisfied the limit value provided by Code for seismic design of buildings. The ablility of deformation is fulfilled the requirement of Code for seismic design of buildings. There is a apparent evidence of vibration isolated spring the resistence seismic. Through adjusting natural period of vibration, vibration isolated spring reduce seismic action. Horizon seismic force of each colomn will be reallocateed, it bring the full play have a wide range of skills.
