Pele, The Damage Mechanism Of The Light Armored Targets

PELE is a kind of fire-new ammunition technique, having already started equip the troops abroad, the domestic research is carriing on, and some articles were published, but not enough.This thesis researched about the test and the numerical simnlation of PELE. The research of the numerical simnlation of PELE was proofed by the data of confirmation. We changed the material of core,strike speed, angle of incidence degree and target thickness to understand the key factor of Affect that the small caliber PELE strike the thin target plank function result, we shoot the PELE to the fixed target by the 30mm ballistic gun. By the analysis of penetrated hole of the target and the photograph of high speed photography, first we got the formation mechanism of PELE. The research of numerical simnlation work about the influence of PELE by the parameter change of shell-target, carried on the numerical calculation of two-dimensional and three-dimensional, and sum up and analyse the experiment result, first we got the influence regulation of PELE horizontal effect by the parameter of shell-target.
