The ecological composite-wall structure is a new, ecological and energy-saving village residential building structure with good seismic performance. As the result of technology improvement of multi-ribbed slab structure studied previously, the new structure not only keeps the good seismic performance of multi-ribbed slab structure but also embodies such advantages as local conditions and energy conservation of the immature soil material, therefore, the safety, suitability and economy of structures are well combined.Based on the research of experiment of an ecological composite-wall with hole, studying of the failure procedure, the failure models and the seismic performance of the wall, and elaborate the prominent calculating method of wall's lateral stiffness. Then the formulas proposed based on the studying of factors that influence the lateral stiffness of the multi-ribbed wall slab with hole.The main content is as follows:(1) Based on low frequency circulation experiment of 1/2 scale ECW with a hole, the whole damaging process and failure mode are analyzed. The bearing capacity, stiff, deformation ability, ductility, energy dissipation ability are all discussed, and then are compared with standard ECW which has the same dimensions of the one with a hole. The result shows that comparing with standard ECW, though the bearing capacity of the ECW with a hole is a little weak, the ductility, and deformation ability are better than the standard ECW. Also, the ductility meets for the demand of current design code; the failure mode is shear mode.(2) Studying of how the changing of hole impacting the strength performance of the wall, based on the Finite Element Analysis of the wall model, and verifying the accuracy of the wall model comparing with the experimental value. The comparing result shows that the model is accurate enough to be used under other kind of load patterns.(3) Based on the experiment and numerical analysis, the factors that influence the lateral stiffness are analyzed. The numerical analysis models with different position and size of hole which are main factors mentioned above are analyzed. Combing with the analysis results and current calculating method for lateral stiffness of the ECW with a hole, the formula is modified to get simplified calculating method for lateral stiffness of the ECW with a hole.Type of Thesis:Applied basic research*The study is sponsored by:1. the National Natural Science Foundation of China (50908188 and 50878021);2.
