Study On Campus Green Space Planning Of Xian University

Campus Planning is an important issue of urban planning; it has a close relationship with social progress, technological development and the reform of higher education system. Because of the status of the history and culture in the city, university building development and cities have an important role in promoting each other. Campus green space planning is an important part of the campus environmental construction, not only reflecting the style, taste,and landscape features, also playing a vital role in the healthy growth of students and comprehensive development. With the higher education system reform, personnel training strategy shift, high-quality campus green space construction is more and more important. Therefore, campus green space planning should not only consider their development needs, but also pay attention to the relationship with the city. Campus green space planning not only needs rational distribution and green compliance, but also needs to meet the functional requirements and the needs of teachers and students' psychological behavior.With systems theory, environmental ecology, environmental psychology, environmental behavior as the theoretical basis of the theory, This paper focuses on analyzing campus green space from the point of urban planning and design disciplines. The study focused on the following:Firstly, the paper analyzes the geographical characteristics of Xi'an and the psychological and behavioral needs of students;Secondly, the paper analyzes the composition, classification, spatial distribution and influencing factors of campus green space;Thirdly, taking campus green space of Xi'an as the main object of study, author makes a systematic analysis about the interrelationship between the campus green space environment and the behavior of the teachers and students; Fourthly, by the results of research, this paper concludes the principles and methods of Xi'an campus green space planning and design.Conclusions of this paper are following:Firstly, through the research of Xi'an campus green space, the author discovers the shortcomings of campus green space.Secondly, aiming at practical problems of Xi'an campus green space, combining with the geographical features of Xi'an, green space planning and design principles and methods that suit Xi'an University campus are proposed:the principle of integrity and continuity; humane principles; individual principles and the promotion of communication principles.Thirdly, the course of green space should be combined with geographical characteristics of Xi'an, functional requirements and habits of college student's behavior. Besides, we should make a systematic and comprehensive planning and design on University campus green space from the individual culture, plants and so on.
