| With social progress and economic development in recent years, higher education industryin China has entered a period of rapid development; the construction of campus has set off anupsurge. Though a lot of experience in all aspects of campus construction has been accumulated,a general lack of respect and understanding to user’s demand in all aspects, still, lead to anidealess situation of built environmental construction. Years ago, a large number ofpost-occupation evaluation (P.O.E) studies about built environment have been carried out. Mostof them involve the city square, park. P.O.E study about Campus and Green space in campus isgradually increasing. Most of them focus on the outcome of evaluation, however, rare attentionhas been paid to how those studies are conducted, rather to mention how data acquisition anddata analysis methods is selected. With all the situation,it is hard for starter to begin to conducta P.O.E study.Based on the former study about Campus Green space Construction and P.O.E athomeland and abroad, this paper focus on the P.O.E study about Campus Green space, and startto investigate the way to conduct a P.O.E study of Campus Green space, including connotationand characteristics, content, purpose, levels and some other basic questions. Moreover, a casestudy about Green space in Nanjing Forestry University is turned on. This paper cross takes acombination of qualitative and quantitative methods, Crosstab, Analytic Hierarchy Process,Interpretive Structural Model,1-9scale,1-5scale, etc included. With Crosstab, we can come toa conclusion of the use patterns of Campus Green space. With other analysis techniques, asatisfaction evaluation index system of Campus Green space Use has been built to evaluatesatisfaction of Campus Green space Use.In this paper, a theoretical and empirical method is conduted to fill the needs of makeresearch into practical significance, moreover, the research should be beneficial to theconstruction of green space in campus, the study also used a combination of qualitative andquantitative research methods, which strive the study to scientific rationality. |
