Coordinated simulation is an aspect of researching on virtual prototype now. In this article, applied virtual prototype technology and based on Vis mockup, the author built a coordinated simulation setting combined kinematics and dynamics simulation and Vis VSA. It is used to find the reason of seizure in interceptor and reheat stop valve AB in turbine made in STC. the author put forward the resolvent of the problem.Firstly, the author summarized systemically the development, actuality and direction of virtual prototype and virtual prototype technology.Secondly, the author built the geometry model of the interceptor and reheat stop valve AB in Solidworks. Based on multi-body dynamic theory, the author built the mechanics model of the interceptor and reheat stop valve AB in Adams, Then simulated the model and researched on the dynamic characteristic of the machine.Thirdly, the author accomplished the virtual assemble and variation analysis of the executive mechanism of the interceptor and reheat stop valve AB, ensured the sensitivity parameter to the capability of mechanism and validated and optimized the dimension and tolerance design of mechanism.Lastly, the author compiled the interface of Adams and Vis mockup in visual basic language, in order to exhibit the movement of mechanism in visualization flatform. It is easy to observe the mechanism dynamically with the curve of Dynamic Analysis.The research is a reference to simulation analyses of similar mechanism and object oriented programmed. It enriches utility integration technique.
