Studies On The Adaptability And Corresponding Cultivation Techniques Of Nectarine [prunus Persica Var. Nectarine Maxim.] In Sanming

This paper investigated six aspects of the nectarines orchards in Sanming region, it including varieties introduced, the basic situation of orchard, botanical characteristics, economic traits of the fruit, species phenology, varieties resistant to the adversity. It showed that, Baiyu, Meiguihong, Lichun, Zaohongbaoshi Wuyueyangguang nectarines had excellent overall performance and had more development potential than Zhongyou No.4, Zaohongzhu nectarines. Their fruits had better quality, the trees vigour is sturdy, they had strong ability to fight a drought and had a low susceptible rate. In addition, Baiyu, Lichun, Wuyueyangguang had market advantage depend on their earliness. Wuyueyangguang lost its competitiveness because of its low weight of single fruit. Because Wuyueyangguang was small relatively, at last, author selected Baiyu, Meiguihong, Lichun, Zaohongbaoshi as the best nectarines varieties to plant in Sanming, then put forward the corresponding supporting cultivation techniques. As nectarines varieties have many branches and new tips grew very fast, it is important to cultivate high yield tree form which is Zirankaixin form. In may, Sanming City is warm and moist, fruit growers should pay attention to the water control for Baiyu, Lichun, Wuyueyangguang. At last, the author put forward the specific prevention and cure measures for the anthracnose, gummosis and fruit cracking.
