Paspalum atratum origins from the Middle South of Brazil , which has strong adaptability, P. atratum is well suited to water.logged acid soils , P. atratum has high forage production and large fo 1.iage, we 1.1 to graze, it is well to construct maanpasture and cutting grassland , this variety has passed the examination of whole Chinese pasturage variety examining committee, P. atratum is a best extending variety in the South of China. It is useful to study the high production and high quality planting technology, the research that different N fertilization and different cutting period time affect production and quality of P. atratum is propitious to more popularly use P. atratum .It is must to consider forage production and content of the assimilation nutrition ,but actually the variety of output and assimilation nutriment is two contrary process in whole growing process .This'research show that the effect of treat 5 (N 360 kg/hm2) is well , P. atratum produced over 7. 4 t/ha DM when N 360 kg/hm2 were appl ied every year and DM yields increased by more than 71% than comparison, which nutrition worthiness is14. 08 .The study about cutting trial show that the effect of treat A and treat 6 is well. The fresh forage production of treat 4 is 129. 66t/hmJ in the course of trial, nutrition worthiness is 8.88, the fresh forage production of treat 6 is 116.17 t/hmj, nutrition worthiness is 8.21.
