| The geographical information system is a new interdisciplinary of science which incorporating information science,the space science, geosciences and computer science into an organic whole,As one of the crucial means,it promotes the information society development. In recent years, with the rapid development of technology of the computer and network communication technology,GIS technology has made considerable progress. GIS is used in more and more social fields,for its powerful abilities of spatial information analysis,management and storage.The development of the new century forestry also urgently need the GIS technology support.One aspect of breakthroughs of our country forestry is the application of the GIS technology.Therefore, in support of GIS,developing and applying Environment GIS not only can acquire, store,manage and display of various environment information,but also can achieve effective supervising,simulation,analyze and evaluation of environment.The study using the forestry second kind survey data and the basic map of forestry as the data source,and establishing the forestry thematic GIS as the core,mainly carried out the application study of GIS system integrated technology in this system and developed some related function modules based on the real requirements of basic unit of forestry. It is possible to manage forest resources in a digitial ,visible ,dynamic and timely form. Therefore,the system could provide a technological support and assistant decision-making for the forest resources information management and forest production in Xiashu forestry centre.The paper presented the current research and application status of GIS in overseas and China. The paper discusses the development methods of GIS and the development approach which based on COM technology.The paper investigates the excellent and application of the component technology and component GIS. The paper introduces the composing function and characteristic of MapObjects, determines the developing environment and tools according with the projects requirement.The focus of this paper is to discuss the information system of Xiashu forestry centre development and implement based on GIS. The paper introduced trusswork of forest resources information management system,material process and method of establishment of database,programming of system function module,function and implement of system . The paper analyzed the technology and its establishment methods of forest resource geographical information system,It discusses the process of design and development for the whole system and relative technology,which includes systematic user interface,systematic requirement, systematic structure design, systematic developing mode,and software and hardware configuration and so on. Making use of development mode that combines object oriented developing tools Delphi and controls offered by MapObjects,fulfills the functions such as map displaying,map operation,data management.The system is universal,transplantable,security and extensible ,and it has a nice interface which can be operated simply. In addition, the system adopted SQL Server storage attributive data. The graphics data and attributive data was associated by key field.The developing of GIS-based forestry resources information system in Xiashu forestry centre just adapts to the demands of the new situation of the forest resources management,for the exaltation of Xiashu forestry centre forest resources management level.The system is a kind of management tools that can provide reliable support to decision-maker to make efficient,advance,and scientific decision .The study filled a piece of blankness of information system of forestry resources in Xiashu forestry centre , it resolves the real requirements of the basic forestry unit ,accelerates the steps of digital forest construction in Xiashu forestry centre station and gives foundation to the going on of the following tasks. |
