Precision griculture is the trend of 21th century's agriculture development direction. Precision agriculture includes three links: the farmland information collection, the information management and decision, variational quantity working. The development of Precision agriculture is based on quickly and accurately acquiring and processing the farmland information. So collecting the farmland information is the foundation of Precision agriculture. However, the technique of acquiring the field information quickly and accurately is still consumedly get behind with other technique that support precision agriculture, and it has become the biggest obstacle of Precision agriculture development.In order to accelerate the development of farmland information collecting technique, according to our country's situation, this paper ues the embedded technology and Virtual Instrument technology in the information collection of precision agriculture. Some agriculture information collection systems was developed based on the technology of sensors ,embedded microprocessor and Virtual Instrument. The contents are as follows:(1) The technology of the agriculture information collection, the theory and application about the information acquisition by the pressure sensors and the GPS technology which was used in the agriculture information collection was researched. An instrument of acquiring the soil pressure and GPS information was designed. The instrument has some strong function such as collects and manages the agriculture information; manage the memory data; display data in the LCD and so on. The application of the GPS in this instrument can meet the need of exactitude position in precision agriculture.(2) The theory and application about the information acquisition by the soil water contnet sensors were analyzed. An instrument of acquiring the soil water content information was designed. It can not only acpuire the GPS information, but also communicate with PC.(3) An instrument which can acquire the soil water content information, EC and siol temperature in one time was designed. The instrument can be inserted into soil and send messege to computer. If there are a lot of instruments, they can make a communicate network.(4) A piece of software for the system of the agriculture information collection was designed. It can realize receiving of the data send from the system, displaying the data, managing the data and preparing the data for the further agriculture decision-making.(5) By experiment, the variety of soil temperature and atmosphere temperature in a day and their relationship was researched,and the variety and distribute of soil water and soil press in a farmland was researched.
