This article systematically researched the growing condition and effect index of lawn grass in the ameliorative coal ash groundmass, the amelioration and application of coal ash groundmass in ashery and the selection of mixed turfgrass species and the ecological environment benefit assessment by pot experiment, ashery plot experiment, lab analyses and simulated artificial rain experiment. The following were the main conclusions:1. The ameliorative coal ash groundmass could accelerate the growing of perennial ryegrass and improve the quality of lawn, of which the effect of adding waste compost, phosphogypsum slag and loess plateau areas were the most remarkable, followed by increasing waste compost, and increasing phosphogypsum slag was of a sort. Meanwhile, the ameliorative groundmass added with loess plateau areas had an accelerated effect on the growing of perennial ryegrass.2. The lawn nature and complex grade of four grasses mixed combination, which were bermudagrass, alsike clover, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass were prior to two mixed or three mixed of the four in pure coal ash groundmass and ameliorative groundmass containing 80% coal ash in Guiyang's power station, 10% phosphate slag and 10% phosphate slag. Meanwhile, the growing condition and quality of five mixed dawn grasses in ameliorative groundmass was prior to in pure coal ash groundmass. The conclusions through the total quality estimate were 28.3% bermudagrass, 28.3% alsike clover, 28.3% tall fescue and 15% perennial ryegrass and 30% bermudagrass, 20% alsike clover , 40% tall fescue, 10% perennial ryegrass planted in ameliorative groundmass, the mixed lawn of which was feasible.3. Coal ash directly regarded as groundmass could affect the dawn growing index, which were lower availible nutrient, high pH and bad texture and so on by analyzing the chemical character of ameliorative coal dash groundmass and combining the conclusions of pot experiments.4. Adding large phosphogypsum, phosphate slag and slag to decrease the pH and ameliorate texture of coal ash in ashery, and the weight proportion of phosphogypsum, coal ash in Guiyang's power station ashery and phosphate slag was 1:1:8 and phosphogypsum, coal ash in Anshun's power station ashery and slag being 2:5:3. And they could also increase the contents of rapidly available phosphorus. The conclusions of the simulated rainfall eluviation experiment were as follow: the pH and the heavy metal Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd of soaking water of ameliorative coal dash groundmass in Guiyang's power station ashery and Anshun's power station ashery reached the surface water environment quality standard through GB 3838-2002.5. The conclusions of mixed seeding turf experiment and plot experiment in ashery were as follow: in order to shorten the growing of lawn and inprove the quality of lawn, the perfect mixed turfgrass species of bermudagrass, alsike clover, perennial ryegrass and tall fescue grass was 30%: 20%: 10%: 40% .6. From the simulated artificial rain experiment, we could conclude the erosion quantity of planting grass in ameliorative coal ash groundmass observably decreased compared with in pure coal ash groundmass. The erosion quantity of planting grass in pure coal ash groundmass also observably decreased compared with not planting grass. Meanwhile, the erosion quantity of coal ash decreased accompany to the regression of angle at the same covered condition of lawn grass.
