Seaweed slag is in the production of sodium alginate, after soaking the kelp after alkali digestion, such as coarse filtering the insoluble components and adhesive solution after dilution, foaming, floating of suspended solid components, is the largest percentage of seaweed industrial solid impurities. According to the dry matter, seaweed industrial utilization of only about 30%, and 50% of the ingredients to become waste. A large amount of slag seaweed is rich in organic matter and nutrient emissions, which has become a potential eutrophication and red tide induced factors, bringing to the marine fishery economy and ecology destruction and influence, not only waste a lot of natural resources, but also brings a series of environmental pollution problems. Seedling cultivation matrix are formed by stacking fermentation research has not been, so to find the optimum fermentation conditions, the reasonable mixed algae slag material is yet to be in-depth study.This paper By analyzing the process of seaweed algae, the peanut shells, seaweed algae and peanut shells mixed fermentation the change of physicochemical properties, and mixing the decomposed seaweed slag with peat, vermiculite to conduct cucumber seedling test, discusses the condition of seaweed residue, peanut shells of composting fermentation, researching different microbial agents affect seaweed slag fermentation rotten degree;analyzing the different ratio of peanut shells and seaweed slag composting fermentation conditions,exploring the seaweed residue substrate effects on cucumber seedling. The main results were as follows:In the seaweed slag composting fermentation process, after the temperature in pile has the trend that falling after rising by first, the pH is down first, then increasing and decreasing tends to be stable, EC value was generally on the rise trend, the add of urea has no effect on the fermentation process of seaweed slag, it shows that in composting fermentation process, water content in pile control within the scope of the 50~55%, don’t add urea, seaweed residue fermentation will be faster.Adding CM101 bacterium agent and high temperature to the promotion of algae at the early stage of the slag temperature longer duration of the effect is not obvious. Adding rotten old material and CM101 bacteria agent for algae slag in the process of pile body rotten little effects on the changes of the physical and chemical properties, however rotten old material to add to buffer seaweed residue rotten process temperature rises too quickly, and duration of the ultra high temperature threshold effect, make the algae slag process of rotten quite gentle, avoid the negative impact of high temperature on the rotten.Which shows that adding rotten fermentation process is superior to the old material of seaweed algae slag slag adding microbial agents.In the process adding rotten fermentation process and CM101 bacterium agent has to increase the temperature of the peanut shells early ascension and the extension of high temperature and duration, and improved the bulk density of peanut shells, aeration porosity and water-holding porosity, seaweed residue effect is more obvious; Each processing both pH showed the first flat, finally reach a steady state immediately after add seaweed slag rotten old material processing A3 and A5, pH reaches a steady state in advance, and other processing high; Add seaweed residue of rotten old material handling EC value is higher than other processing. Add rotten old material and CM101 bacteria agent can promote the fermentation process of peanut shells, but add the rotten old material processing is better than that of CM101 bacterium agent processing, and to improve the physicochemical properties of peanut shells.All processing of matrix in the process of rotten total porosity, air porosity and the pore water changed little, bulk density showed a trend of rising and CM101 microbial agents to add have a role in promoting the bulk density, and all the bulk density are within the scope of the threshold value. In the mixing pile body, with the increase of seaweed slag, pile body temperature rise rate and high temperature keeping time increases. After total mixed matrix porosity and moisture increase with the increase of the porosity as algae residue content, aeration porosity is on the decline.The aim of this research was to use the seaweed slag from seaweed processing industry, according to the different proportion of mixed with peat and vermiculite, determining the mixed substrate physicochemical property, and the grow index of the cucumber. The results showed that the right amount of seaweed slag to a certain extent, coordinated the mixed substrate of aeration porosity and the pore water proportion, increased the nutrient element content in the mixed matrix, promoted the growth of the cucumber seedlings, when mixed seaweed slag in the substrate is lower than 40%, the cucumber seedling, plant height, stem diameter, leaf area growth indicators are better than the control, including the proportion of peat to seaweed slag to vermiculite respectively at 80:20:0,72:18:10 and 53:13:34, the cucumber seedling growth condition is great, can be used as cucumber seedling substrate.
