The experiment was carried out the formula formed with eleven kinds of matrixes that were charred rice husk, perlite, red mud, peatmoss, cinders coal, discard germ stick, charred discard germ stick, charred tobacco stem, charred rice straw, compost and seedcake fertilizer. Study on the effect of different matrixes on the growth of tobacco seedling by checking against the currently tobacco normal seedling formula, to be screened local materials, low-cost, non-peat and cultivation of good results matrix formula. The aim is to reduce the cost of seedling and make the development of factory seedling in the region possible. The study was divided into four steps that were flue-cured tobacco seedling substrate materials and formulations primaries, the seedling matrix formula to repeat tests, the tests of seedling effect as hull different degree of carbonization and different red soil, the tests of seedling matrix formulation optimization identify. The results showed that:(l) When the conductivity of the matrix formula was 0.82 ms/cm above , it would affect the flue-cured tobacco seed germination rate and the growth rate of seedling. Particularly when the matrix conductivity was 1.03 ms/cm above, the impact on the flue-cured tobacco seed germination rate and seedling growth rate was greater. When the bulk density of the matrix formula major was more than 0.875g/cm~3, it would affect the flue-cured tobacco seed germination rate and seedling growth rate. Matrix density and electrical conductivity is the important indicators that impact on the flue-cured tobacco seed germination rate and seedling growth rate.(2) According to agronomic traits, biomass, physiological situations of various matrix formula seedling, it can be concluded that the growth of seedlings of J1 treament(control)( Peat: charred hull: perlite = 3:4:2), J2 treament (control) (peat: charred hull: perlite: red soil = 2.1:2.8:1.4:3), the J3 treament (char hull: red soil = 7:3), J4 treament (carbonized rice husk: Red soil = 6:4), J5 treament (peat: red soil = 7:3), J6 treament (peat: red soil = 6:4) were best. The matrix density of above treaments was between 0.496g/cm~3 and 0.652g/cm~3, the total porosity was between 68.51% and 75.93%, the porosity and water holding was between 40.71% and 54.22%, the porosity of ventilation was between 16.19% and 29.99%, the ratio of air to water in the matrix was between 1:1.5 and 1:3.2, the pH was between 5.75 and 7.48 ,and the EC was between 0.66 ms/cm and 0.77ms/cm. (3) The seedling test of different ratio of red mud and charred hull showed that, when the proportion of charred hull and red soil was 7:3,6:4, its seedling growth of matrix formulation was better, but with the ratio of the charred hull in matrix formula increased or decreased, seedling growth potential weakened. Especially when charring hull and red soil in the matrix formula was at a ratio of 3:7 (the density was 0.975g/cm~3), its seedling growth was worst. (4) After the seedling experiments of matrix formulation of hull through different degree of carbonization and different red soil and formulation optimization, it finalized six kinds of treaments what would be widely used in the production, namely: Yl(≥2mm charred hull: <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky = 6:1:3), Y2(≥2mm charred hull: <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky = 5:2:3), Y13(≥2mm charred hull: <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky: perlite= 5:1:4:1), Y14 (≥2mm charred hull: <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky: perlite= 4:2:4:1), Y15 (≥2mm charred hull : <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky: perlite = 3:3:4:l),and Y17(≥2mm charred hull: <2mm charred hull: sandy loam sticky: perlite = 4 : 2:4:2). These treaments can achieve J1 treament (control) (peat: charred hull: perlite = 3:4:2) level in the effects of the seedling cultivation. The porosity and the matrix ratio of air to water of these six kinds of treaments were more appropriate, and the treaments can provide a good rhizosphere environment for the seedling. Their matrix densities were between 0.493g/cm~3 and 0.596g/cm~3, the total porosity was between 75.82% and 77.82%, the porosity and water holding was between 45.00% and 46.85%, the porosity in the ventilation was between 29.53% and 30.97%, the ratio of air to water in the matrix was between 1:1.5 and 1:1.6, the pH was between 7.16 and 7.47, and the EC was between 0.72 ms/cm and 0.77 ms/cm. The big microbial biomass and the high enzyme activity of these treaments were conducive to the growth of the seedling. Their content of microbial biomass C was between 1283.51mg/Kg and 1328.01mg/Kg, the content of microbial biomass N was between 316.55mg/Kg and 329.25mg/Kg, and the urease activity and the phosphatase activity of the treaments were higher. These six kinds of treaments can promote healthy seedling growth, so that the seedling stem diameter, leaf area and dry weight, and other indicators increased significantly. The number of their leaves increase 1.2 tablet / strain-2.4 tablet / strain, the diameter increased 0.05cm-0.15cm, the stem height increased 1.12cm-2.10cm, the largest leaf length increased 5.62cm-7.86cm, the largest leaf width increased 2.54cm-3.30cm, the shoot dry weight increased 0.059 g/strain-0.071 g/strain and underground dry weight increased 0.005 g/strain-0.010 g/strain. These six kinds of treaments can improve seedling chlorophyll content, and promote root development and improve seedling root vitality, and strengthened seedling resisting unhealthy environment. The result of the test indicated that: the matrix of the six treaments (Y1, Y2, Y13, Y14, Y15, Y17) was non-peat, preparation reasonable and nutrition coordination. The matrix can make the seedling growth healthy, and the large production practice promote the use of good results.
