Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai recorded from Shennong's Herbal, a green perennial herb, bitter in taste, cold, slightly poisonous. There were the treatments of intestinal worms, stop bleeding and fever caused by influenza. Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai is a plant in Dryopterideceae of Dryopteris Adanson. In modern times, medicine have shown that the rhizomes and root in leafstalk of Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai, which has many effects such as inhibit fungi, anti-tumor and anti-influenza virus. In recent years, Chinese traditional medicine has been paid more attention to the Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai and Chinese herbal medicine reasonable compatibility to prevent and cure viral disease.Based on relative studies in recent years, this paper reviews variety, chemical constituents and pharmacological action of Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai. The pharmacodynamics and chemical constituents was researched at the same time.In this paper, the major active fraction for the anti-inflammatory of Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai was determined. In order to determine the effect parts, Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai water extracts was eluted with water and ethyl alcohol in three different concentrations (30%, 60%, 95%) in macroporous resin, then the four eluates were screened and studied as the active fraction for the treatment of inflammatory. The statistics analytic result indicated that 30% alcohol elute was decided as major active fraction for the anti-inflammatory and paregoric.On the foundation of the effect parts in earlier stage,8 compounds were isolated with silica. Gel column, ODS column, HPLC preparation chromatography and others modern extraction and separation technologies from 30% alcohol elution. Furthermore, chemical structures of 4 compounds were identified by 1D and 2D NMR such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC and HMBC。According to detecting,Compound1 is a new Compound.Simultaneously ,this paper researched the physiological activity of monosomic compound's active fraction and screened the anti-tumor active ingredients of compound.Through MTT experiment, the anti-tumor activity of compound 3 was determined.In this paper, the chemical composition in the major active fraction for the anti-inflammatory of Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai were extracted and separated, and screened the active ingredients of compound,which deliver the study and research used for medicine with important references.
