Objective To establish central retinal vein occlusion of rabbit model with argon laser photocoagulation to central retinal vein(CRVO).And study the effect of nattokinase on visual functions in rabbit eyes with CRVO.Methods CRVO of rabbit model was established with argon laser photocoagulation to central retinal vein.After laser,intravitreal injections of either 0.1ml of 0.1 FU nattokinase,or Ringer's solution (negative contro1) were given once daily for three days.And the group C as control was not given anything special. Before and after laser,flash electroretinogram (FERG), FFA were recorded ,and 14 days after laser , FERG was statistically analyzed.Eye wall biopsy hematoxylin - eosin staining was used to analyze the pathology.Results①Argon laser photocoagulation induced an experimental model of central retinal vein occlusion and simulated the human development process of CRVO disease.After the modeling, FFA showed the central retinal vein blood flow interruption, the expansion of peripheral vascular filling.②2 weeks after laser, compares to those before modeling ,the incubation period of FERG a, b wave in C group rabbits was significantly longer , amplitude reduction;③2 weeks after laser, compares to group B,C, group A of FERG-a, b wave latency in were significantly shorter, the amplitude were significantly larger (P <0.05)④Compared with the laser before modeling, rabbits of group A FERG-a, b wave latency, amplitude reduction;⑤Compared group A with group B, pathological section showed that the former retinal cells closely arranged in larger quantities, which retinal structure obviously loose.Conclusion An experimental model of central retinal vein occlusion was successfully produced in rabbit by argon laser photocoagulation.Nattokinase can ameliorate visual functions.
