Purposes:Systematically analyze the efficiency and safety of the intervention treatment on IVF-ET of traditional Chinese medicine, in view of getting an objective, credible assessment on the intervention treatment with traditional Chinese medicine in order to provide better evidence available at present to help patients and doctors make decisions and provide some basis for a further study.Methods:Adopting an evidence-based medicine (EBM) approach, developing the criteria of going into or exclusion and meantime a searching strategy. Fully searching for literatures on intervention with traditional Chinese medicine on IVF-ET. Finally, at least the randomly controlled trials observation of the rate of clinical pregnancy was included. Applying a Revman 4.2 software to statistically or descriptively analyze the quality of included studies on the methodological.Results:Totally,9 literature and 747 cases of Patients randomly controlled trials were included. Statistics showed that the clinical pregnancy rate of TCM and controlled groups were 41.18% and 24.33% respectively in the treatment of IVF-ET. The combined OR was 2.19 with 95% CI of [1.57, 3.05] and p<0.01.While the biochemically intervened pregnancy rate were 45.52% and 30.19% respectively, the combined OR is 1.94 with 95% CI of [1.36,2.76]. And high-qualitied embryo rate were 68.52% and 59.25% respectively, the combined OR is 1.74 with 95% CI of [1.51,2.00] and p<0.01.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine intervention treatment on IVF-ET could improve the rate of high-qualitied embryo and pregnancy, it also improved endometrial receptivity. Hitherto, there was no evidence of their significant adverse effects.
