Purpose:Using the method of document to study the rule of different pixu diarrhea's syndrome type and drug laws, to summarize the identity characteristics and corresponding formula of medication regularly. To analysis the difference of Chinese medicine's usage of syndromes through comparative study. In order to provides the references for different pixu diarrhea syndrome of experimental research and clinical therapy.Methods:Chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine from the database in 1979-2008 period journal (because of the farthest database can collect is in 1979, recent for 2008) of the formulas of pixu diarrhea record with Microsoft Excel 139, database, formula of each type, using the data of traditional Chinese medicine every frequency statistics functions related material.Results:Pixu diarrhea prescriptions, which involves 24 types drugs, tonifying qi, draining dampness, warming the middle, arresting discharge, moving qi,120 times above high frequency. Secondly jiebiao, resolving food stagnation, draining dampness, tonifying blood,60 times above. The core drugs are mainly distributed in tonifying qi, water temperature, the wet medicine, facilitating medicine. Which frequency used more than 50 times, the order is baizhu 113 times, ruling 85 times, licorice 75 times, dangshen 68 times, orange peel 58 times.Conclusion:Pixu diarrhea principle for the treatment, treating the root is invigograting spleen, treating the branch is dispelling excess. The basic alopecia is tonifying qi and invigograting spleen, other drug for each differences and different characteristics:1. Spleen-stomach qi deficiency of diarrhea:mainly tonify qi and invigograte spleen, secondly drain dampness, and resolve food stagnation and harmonize the middle. The nature of drugs is should be peace and sweet.2. Spleen-stomach yang deficiency of diarrhea:mainly tonify qi and invigograte spleen, secondly warm the middle, and dissipate cold and remove dampness.The nature of drugs is should be peace, pungent, warm, sweet, bland taste.3. Spleen-stomach yin deficiency of diarrhea:mainly qi and yin are strengthened in the same time, secondly arrest discharge, and drain dampness. The nature of drugs is should be sweet, nourish, moist.4. Spleen deficiency with dampness retention of diarrhea:mainly tonify qi and yin, secondly promote urination and remove or resolve dampness. The nature of drugs is should be pungent, warm, sweet.5. Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency of diarrhea:mainly tonify qi, secondly warm the middle and tonify yang, and arrest discharge. The nature of drugs is should be pungent, warm, sweet, bland taste.6.
