Objective:To investigate the correlation between PLGC gastroscope image pathological changes, Hp infection and the type of syndrome in Chinese medicine through the correlation analysis of the pathological changes in gastroscope image of PLGC patients, Hp infection and the type of syndrome in Chinese medicine. Methods:In this study,212 cases of both outpatients and inpatients were collected from Oct. 2008 to Dec.2009 in the First Affiliated Hospital of the Medical College, shihezi University. These patients who accepted the gastroscope image and patho-detection suffered from the chronic gastritis and precancerous lesions. The cases with the gastroscope image are 88, and the cases with pathological detection in the gastro-mucosa, Hp infection and four physical examination in Chinese medicine are 212. We studied the correlation between the gastroscope image detection in PLGC patients, Hp infection and the type of syndrome in Chinese medicine. At the same time, we randomly collected 123 cases with the chronic gastrilis and the precancerous lesions as the control. The professional doctors take responsibilities of gastroscope diagnosis and pathological diagnosis. The differentiation of symptoms and signs in Chinese medicine can be divided into the six types of syndrome, including the deficiency of spleen-QI and stomach-QI, yin asthenia with pyrexia, deficiencycold of the spleen, stagnation of liver-QI and stomach-QI, splenogastric hygropyrexia, and the collaterals in the stomach congestion. The clinical diagonostics were performed by the investigator. The data were analyzed with SPSS statistics software. Results:We found that there was correlation between the gastroscope image pathological changes, Hp infection and the type of syndrome in the Chinese medicine by the study of the relationship between the gastroscope imge from the 88 cases and the pathological detection or Hp infection from the 212 cases. We randomly collected 123 cases with the chronic gastrilis and the precancerous lesions as the control, and found that the incidence rates of stagnation of liver-QI and stomach-QI and splenogastric hygropyrexia in the precancerous lesions group were lower when compared with the chronic gastritis groups, while the incidence rates of deficiencycold of the spleen and the collaterals in the stomach congestion were higher which was statistical significant (p<0.05). The incidence rates of deficiency of spleen-QI and stomach-QI and deficiencycold of the spleen were increased in the precancerous lesions Hp infection groups by comparison with the chronic gastritis groups. The data had statistical significance (p<0.05).Conclusion:(1) This study shows that the gastroscope image pathological examination of Hp infection can be considered as an expanded approach of visual inspection (Wang Zhen), and be accepted as evidence of differentiation of symptoms and signs in Chinese medicine, while deserves further investigations.(2)We propose that during the pathological development from the chronic gastritis to PLGC, the splenogastric hygropyrexia change into the deficiencycold of the spleen and cold coagulation of blood vessel, and induce congestion of the collaterals in the stomach. Deficiency, stagnant, frigidity, block are the critial factors during the pathological development in the precancerous lesions of gastric carcinoma, and also are the key points in the determination of treatment based in the pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs..
