Enantiomers of chiral drugs invariably have different Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. To further explore the pathological effects and clinical application of each enantiomer of chiral drugs, enantioseparation and determination of chiral drugs has become more and more popular. Chromatography separation techniques have great advantages in enantioseparations, and CE and HPLC are the most commonly used separation techniques nowadays. In this study, three aspects have been carried out:1. Enantioseparation of fiveβ2-agonists by capillary electrophoresisA capillary electrophoretic method for enantiomeric separation of five 6-agonists was stablished with carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin (CM-β-CD). The effects of the chiral selector type and concentration, pH value and composition of the background electrolyte (BGE), the capillary temperature and applied voltage on the enantiomeric separation of the drugs selected have been investigated. The experimental results showed that baseline chiral separations of the drugs above could be obtained.2. Enantioseparation of four chiral drugs on CHIRALPAK? IB-CSPCHIRALPAK? IB-CSP method was applied for enantioseparation of ketoprofen, omeprazole, itraconazole and (2R)-1-amino-3-phenoxyl-2-propanol. The influence of mobile phase additives, concentration, flow rate and additive on the enantioseparation was studied. The experimental results showed that baseline chiral separations of ketoprofen, omeprazole and (2R)-l-amino-3-phenoxyl-2-propanol could be obtained, while itraconazole was partial separated under the conditions investigated.3. Determination of Clenbuterol hydrochloride in rabbit plasma by Capillary electrophoresis-Laser induced fluorescenceThe biological samples were pretreated and derivatized by FITC, then analyzed by CE. CE-LIF was developed to measure the plasma concentration and evaluated from linearity, precision, recovery, LOQ, etc.
