Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of SLIT combine ICS and ICS alone for dust mite-allergic children with mild and moderate asthma, to provide favourable clinical evidence for asthmatic therapeutic alliance. Methods: Thirty-two mild and moderate asthmatic patients with dust mite-allergic were divided into SLIT group(SLIT+ICS, n=18) and ICS group(ICS alone, n=14) randomly. There was one drop-out in each group, thirty patients completed clinical observation for one year. The day and night of asthmatic symptom scores, skin prick test, pulmonary function tests(FEV1,FEF25–75%),serum specific immunoglobulin E (sIgE) and G4(sIgG4) levels and VAS scores were observed in two groups. Those indexes of all patients were detected pre-treatment and post-treatment. Compare the efficacy with within-group and between-group. Results: Two groups were comparable at baseline. There were statistical difference in within-group (P﹤0.05).Compare with ICS group, patients demonstrated that asthmatic day and night symptom scores decrease, FEF25–75% increase, sIgE value and VAS scores decrease at the end of one year in SLIT group, there were statistical difference (P﹤0.05).There were no statistical difference on skin prick test, FEV1 and sIgG4 value in two groups(P﹥0.05).No severe adverse events happened during the follow-up period. Conclusion: SLIT is safe and effective, there are favourable clinical efficacy in two groups, but the effective of SLIT combine ICS is better than ICS alone on dust mite-allergic asthmatic patient in day and night symptom scores, pulmonary function and VAS scores.
