A Study On Discourse Form And Beauty Appreciation Of Xu Dishan's Novels

Since Xu Dishan is the writer of out of the ordinary in Chinese modern literary arena,thestudy on him and his works presents numerous and complicated. However, up to now, there is not a complete treatise on his ideas guiding artistic or literary creation and his artistic achievements from the text of narrative discourse. In view of the above-mentioned fact, this paper gives a study on his discourse forms and the using discourse strategies in his novels from the text of narrative discourse. After study, the paper draws a conclusion:the narrative discourse in his novels presents numerous and complicated. There are principal discourse forms:a strong discourse of religion, enlightened discourse of national criticism, human solicitude discourse of the populace, the discourse of radical democratic-ism and the discourse of patriotism. These discourses construct their ways of self value and emotion. They present compatible connections between contradiction and opposite. The discourse strategies make the discourses in good conformity in his novels. In short, the contradiction and opposites of the discourses in text become discourse tension and send forth the artistic sense of tension, which let Xu's works show the special quality and style of literary on appreciation of the beautiful.
