Study of teacher behavior of classroom instruction on the basic music course, including both teaching theories and teaching practice, is the further and detailed research of teaching theories on this course. The purpose of the study on teacher behavior of classroom instruction is to discover problems in practice and based on psychology, from the view of both theory and practice, explore the present situation of teacher behavior of classroom instruction on the basic music course and its actual problem by the way of interview, observation, questionnaire and literature analysis, which has a positive effect on the improvement of teacher behavior of classroom instruction and the production of good classroom instruction. Consequently, the analysis of teacher behavior of classroom instruction on the basic music course is a task not only related with theories but also related with practice.The thesis consists of four parts, including introduction part and three chapters. The introduction part reviews the conditions and characteristics of overseas and domestic research on teacher behavior of classroom instruction, points out the theoretical significance and practical value of the study, and on the basis of investigation on the previous research, makes definitions of teaching behavior, teacher behavior of classroom instruction, as well as basic music course. Chapter one gives a detailed analysis of the teaching idea of teachers of the basic music course and the requirement of the new idea on change of teacher behavior. Chapter two is the survey on the present situation of covert and overt teacher behavior on the basic music course. Chapter three, based on the theory of psychology, explores the deep problems existing in teacher behavior of classroom instruction on the basic music course from the perspective of theory and practice and puts forward suggestions so as to improve the effectiveness of teacher behavior of classroom instruction on the basic music course.
