Erhu (string instrument) is graceful and mellow in tone with rich music performance. It is good at performing exquisite lyric passages, and can also perform cadenza with high performance skills. Erhu can be played in solo, ensemble and also participate in concert, it is one of representative national string instruments. With the continuous maturity of national music and the development of the era, Erhu also continuously experienced the perfection from theory to practice. The introduction of western music system had improved national music and Erhu performance to a new height. How to further expand and improve the performance capability of Erhu has always been particularly paid attention to by vast Erhu performers and educators.Solfeggio and basic music theory is the compulsory subject for students who learn specialized music. Its courses contain various systematic and effective training contents, which are the basic music training requisite for Erhu performance and have innumerable close links with Erhu performance. Whether the training of content is in place directly influences Erhu performance.
