Based on the teaching of basic music theories at college music education, thethesis firstly analyzes and summarizes the current situation in the teaching of basicmusic theory and solfeggio at normal universities and colleges. Then combinativeteaching mode of music theory and solfeggio is proposed, aiming at helping studentsobtain the most effective information and knowledge in the shortest time and in thesimplest way. The current study actively promotes the learning of basic musictheories at normal universities and colleges.The thesis is innovative in that it unites the teaching of the two independentsubjects in basic music courses—basic music theory and solfeggio, breaking theoriginally simplex teaching mode. Through meticulous and logical improvement ofteaching as well as the order of teaching, not only students' learning interests areenhanced, but also they are made to follow the law of cognitive development inlearning— from the perceptual stage to the rational stage, then to the perceptual stageagain, which is after rational sublimation, finally obtaining the holistic and brightmusic in practice.
