The purpose of this study was investigated the relations between career beliefs and career decision-making difficulties. The instruments were the Career Beliefs Scale and Career Decision-making Difficulties Questionnaire, and the subjects were 974 college students from eight universities of Heilongjiang in China.The major findings of Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis were that the career beliefs had the significant impact on career decision-making difficulties. The subtest scores of hesitation/anxiety, achievement motivation, value judgment, and the students'hometown had the significant positive effects, as well as the subtest scores of career beliefs, openness had the significant negative effects on predicting career decision-making difficulties. As the three dimension of career decision-making difficulties, the value judgment, achievement motivation, hesitation/anxiety, and expectations had significant positive effects on predicting the dimension of lack of readiness;the career beliefs, hesitation/anxiety, expectation, achievement motivation, value judgment, the students'hometown and the type of school had significant positive effects, and the openness had the significant negative effects on predicting the dimension of lack of information; and hesitation/anxiety, achievement motivation had significant positive effects and the expectation had significant negative effects on predicting the dimension of inconsistent information.In addition, the scores of career beliefs were showed the significant differences on the variables of gender, the type of school, the students'hometown, grade, profession and accepted the career guidance or not.Based on the results of this study, the suggestions of career education, career counseling, students'career decision-making, and the future research were respectively discussed.
