Students are faced with a wide range of career decision-making and can they successfully solve the various problems encountered in the career decision-making process is directly related to the successful adaptation of employment and occupation. In order to seek effective ways to reduce college students' career decision-making difficulties, the paper focuses on the effects of core self-evaluations as personal characteristics, and career social support as an external environmental factor, investigated 489 college students in Nanjin, revealed the status of college students'career decision-making difficulties, core self-evaluations and career social support. Furthermore, we discussed the relationship between the three variables. The results are as follows:1. The reliability and validation of the revised Emotional and Personality-Related Aspects of Career Decision-Making Difficulties(EPCD) and Core Self-evaluations Scale(CSES) were satisfactory.2. College students'career decision-making difficulties were at middle level, there were significant gender and age difference in Pessimistic, and there were significant gender difference in Self-Concept and Identity. The college students' core self-evaluations were at middle level, there was no significant difference in demographic variables. College students' total career social support were at middle level, different source of support and different support dimensions exist significant differences on some demographic variables.3. Career social support, core self-evaluations and career decision-making difficulties were correlated pairwise.4. Career social support could negatively predict career decision-making difficulties, emotional support, support from parents, friends and mates had strong negative prediction effect to career decision-making difficulties. Core self-evaluations could negatively predict career decision-making difficulties. Career social support could positively predict core self-evaluations, emotional support and support from parents, friends, mates had strong positive prediction effect to core self-evaluations, material support had strong negative prediction effect to core self-evaluations.5. Core self-evaluations partially mediated the relationship between career social support and career decision-making difficulties.
