Choral Conducting in the professional music education is one important required course. It covers many aspects of the professional knowledge and, therefore, the construction of this course has always been attached great importance at all levels of the professional institutions both at home and abroad. In addition to classroom teaching, professional music collegess often create their own choir as complementation and a very strong practical course. The author suggests that extra-curricular choir training and its practice be listed as part of the curriculum to ensure an a more complete curriculum system as well as a more harmonious atmosphere to enhance the collective cohesion. This is a research of the author's graduate studies and the methods used include document collection, logic analysis, experience summary, surveys and interviews and action research. The thesis proposes the author's suggestions on the constrcution and refom of the course of Choral Conducting in vocational professional colleges to demonstrate the importance and necessity of this course and leads to a basic scheme to cultiovate talents of choral conducting in vocational colleges and to promote the scientific construction of the curriculum building.
