Research On The Characteristics Of Tibetan Architectures Adapting To Climate

This paper summarized the definition and classification of climate, and analyzed the relationship between climate and architecture - climate factors on structure and building on climate. Then it analyzed the climate characteristics of Tibet, including a brief introduction to Tibet, the analysis of the climate factors in Tibet and the climate zonings of Tibetan architectures. Then it discussed the features of Tibetan tradition architectures adapting to climate, including space and form, structure and material, adornment and colour, cultural background and the dwellings under the climate zonings of Tibetan architectures. Then it analyzed Tibetan contemporary architectural creation adapting to climate, having a few examples - Lhasa railway station, Tibet museum, Tibet Changdu Changkei street, Tibet Ali apple primary, Tibet Nyingchi Nanjiabawa station. Finally, this paper discussed the conclusions on thinking about the regional characteristics and climate, about Tibet traditional architectural features and climate, about Tibetan contemporary architectural creation adapting to climate.It based on the analysis of the relationship between the special Tibetan climate and the Tibetan architectural features, understanding Tibetan climate, studying Tibetan architectural characteristics adapting to climate, discussing how to make Tibetan contemporary architectural creation having clearly national geographic characteristics, in the special climate and how to combine tradition with the times, let Tibetan architectures adapt to the development of contemporary social harmony.
