Tibet Buddhism was formed during the course of the introject of buddism and initial religion in Tibet ,it's branches was born for many reasons. From the middle period of 10th century to 13th century,Tibet is devided in parts,the sects generated with the supporting of these local governments. since without a restriction of uniform autarchic government, all braches was well developed .And this period was also the period of the Tibet serf system coming into being, the revolution of productivity and the development of economy formed a firm fundament for the formation of the branches. However, expect for these exterior reasons, the interior reason in Buddhism is also important. in the early days when buddhism was introduced to Tibet, it had different accedences, And also, the Tibet masters had different personal learning and fancy to buddhism, so they got different comprehension, so they created all kinds of theories; The maturity of interpretation of sutras was also provided fundament for these theories. Tibet Buddhism has it's owe characteristics different from Chinese and Indian. it developed by the support of family force, and they formed firm political combination, so Tibet Buddhism have much influence on the history of Tibet in many aspects.This article will analyse the reason for the generation of the branches of Tibet Buddhism, their characteristics, and their influence on tibet's history by means of texture research and comparative research of religion sociology etc.
