Chinese is language that is lack of form, as a form of Chinese language, verbs overlap has its particularities.For decades,the Synchronic study about this area come out one after the other, and becoming more and more in-depth. But on the aspect of diachronic reserch, in particula, on morden chinese study which has obtain substantial development is relatively lagging behind, Currently some reserchers has incorporated some new ideas and new results about the synchronic study into the diachronic study, But the real general, dynamic and systematic inspection work is not carried out. In this case, by means of combining with both of them, and also combining the induction of nature and the analysis of functions to examine the history of modern Chinese verb overlapping development, it is very necessary.Because of the above,this article attempts to make some vertical and three-dimensional analysis on Modern Chinese Verbs overlap, and also analyse variety of overlapping forms, grammatical meaning, grammatical function and grammatical feature. The article also make a seris of inspectations on the origins of overlapping forms and the phenomena of the comparative development.This article will make new interpretation with a new concepts, new perspectives, for updating on the subject. Meanwhile, the paper also sort the Synchronic study about verbs overlap.This paper is divided into four parts:1. The study of verbal reduplication forms in Chinese. Combined with the existing research results, we analyzed the following two aspects of Verb Overlapping grammar features, that is syntactic constituent and sentence structure feature of verb overlap form, Study features of reduplication of Chinese verbs, confirmed the results, in order to make up for the lack part,and giving a more complete study in this regard.2. Semantic study of Chinese verbs. Carding relative resource, in order to study on semantics of verb overlap form, we confirm recent studies expecting having a bettet undertanding on the verb Overlapping.3. The pragmatic function study of verb overlapping in Chinese.On the study of the pragmatic functions of the verb overlapping, we explore three main areas, the use of the verb overpping from the perspective of context,and the pragmatic psychology and pragmatic psychology affect on verb overlap form.4.
