Research On China's Charitable Organizations Fund-raising Manner

With the socio-economic development, charitable organizations are playing an increasingly important role in helping the vulnerable groups and solving the problem of poverty. In recent years, although the China's charitable organizations develop rapidly, many problems continue to appear, especially the financing, which influences the health and the sustainable development of charitable organizations.Charitable organizations don't have a fixed source of funding like government, also can not generate revenue through the operation like for-profit organizations. So charitable funds should include donations and supplies. Charitable fund-raising is the means that charitable organizations committing public service mission mobilize and concentrate the potential public resources. Then these resources are provided to society by service, while addressing their own work and development funds.Around the charitable organizations fund-raising, this thesis analyzes and inducts the history and the current status of our China's charitable fund-raising, also pointing out the problem existing in the process of fund-raising and the countermeasures to solve. Firstly, on the basis of systematically define charitable organizations and charitable funds, this thesis set the basic model of charitable fund-raising. Secondly, it comprehensively describes the history of our Country's charitable fund-raising, and sums up several different ways of fund-raising. Thirdly, it summarizes the sources of charitable organizations fund-raising oversee, then analyzing the present status and new features of China's charitable organizations. Finally, it analyzes the existing problems and the causes generating of our Country's charitable fund-raising, as well as giving some countermeasures and suggestions to optimize our China's charitable fund-raising.
