The Reconsideration Of Administration Reform In Shan Dan District

Since 2005, institutional reform of the Sate Council has been realized successfully, adapted political system is required necessarily by rapid and sound development of economy. With the beginning of the Super-Ministry System Reform in our country, as a county, whether grass-roots administrative reform will succeed or not will directly affect the speed of top-down administrative reform and economic construction in our country. In such situation, drastic reform has been carried out in ShanDan County since 2005, by simplifying the administrative structure and cutting the dead wood. Villages and towns has been cut from 11 to 8, which can save funds for 1,500,000. However, considering economic factors, because of the administrative system and traditional ideas, such reforms are limited, after all.Comparing with the developed and south-eastern area, administrative reform in western area with less development has some features as follows:ossification, acting slowly and inefficiency. That will neither grasp opportune time of western development, nor keep pace of rapid development of economy, which affect the whole development of this area in economy,politics,culture and society. As a less developed area, the reform should be based on building an honest, diligent, pragmatic and efficient government. We should improve efficiency, quality of service, and provide a good investment environment and then brave difficulties by making use of territorial advantage and grasping the excellent opportunity of western development. There by, we could offer a favorable platform for the whole development of economical society in ShanDan County.
