Police is an integral part of the state apparatus. In many cases, the image of the police is on behalf of the government's image. In that case, our media how to deal with such contradictions, the objective should be how to correct the image of the police presented it before the public?For the purpose of this study, this paper with a sample survey and content analysis method that combines the "People's Daily", "Southern Weekend" and "Urban ChuTian Reported " analyzed the" police ". In theory, this paper used Hall's concept of media representation, news discourse analysis theory and audience acceptance of psychological and other related theoretical. Analysis of the negative image caused by the impact of the police and reasons, and then from the police, the media, the audience the three perspectives to explore the role of the media and the police to build the image of the relationship.The image crisis of the police is like a double-edged sword. If it doesn't handle properly, the image may be affected. It will lead to public distrust of the police organization. It will even to be a serious impact on social stability and development. If we can find appropriate ways to resolve the internal contradictions between the police, the media and the masses, it enable the police to reach mutual understanding and support of the people in front of the police has set up the courage to take responsibility. And actively work to improve and serve the people wholeheartedly the good image of the police.On this basis, this paper makes some suggestions: Truth-seeking judicial authority to protect; to be made to broaden the functions of supervision and open channels of communication between the police and the public; to carry out several suggestions, such as constructive criticism.
