The Research On Institution Of Non-governmental Organization For Sustainable Development

Non-governmental organization(NGO)is an important approach to achieve the goal of governing diversely and realize the progress of our society under the new situation. This paper, based on institutional economics theory, analyzes the relative institutional factors and the obstacle of Sustained Development of the NGO and gives the suggestions for Sustainable Development the NGO on the basis of the analysis of appearances and reasons of its institutional obstacles.By researching the relative theories of NGO, in both empirical and theoretical methods, we find that various obstacles of the Sustained Development of NGO are existed in our country. Great effort should be made to increase the exterior institutional need for it and create a better institutional environment. Meanwhile, upgrading the inner management standard of NGO for its sustained development is also needed. This paper gives a sign fictive research and effort to advance our society. There are five parts in this paper. The first part mainly presents the background and significance of picking this subject, the researching situation at present as well as the methods and structure of the analyzing. The second part shows the definition, characters of NGO, the concept and theoretical foundation of the Sustained Development of NGO and elaborates the Sustained Development of NGO in China from the viewpoint of institutional economics, such as the institution dependence and the path routing. The third part analyzes the current situation and institutional obstacles on the Sustained Development of NGO. in China. The fourth part mainly describes the Sustained Development of foreign NGO which can be learned as USA and India as example, such as the experience of management which the government could take on the NGO in legal and tax supporting, as well as the relationship between the government and NGO. The fifth part is about the suggestions for the Sustained Development of NGO. Firstly, to build the social environment in which the non-governmental organizations can be conducive for sustainable development, to improve the legal of the NGO, to perfect the management to the NGO which be took by the government, to coordinate the relationship between the government and the NGO. Secondly, to complete the internal institutions of the NGO for sustainable development, to advance the institutions in property system, organizational system and self-management system, to improve the conformation of the human resources and the financial management There is a brief summary shown at last.
