Independent college appears and develops on the background that knowledge economy makes first appearance and in order to increase our comprehensive national power, the government implements the strategy of rejuvenating our country through science and education, makes great efforts to develop the higher education to promote higher education popularization. Its appearance is the result of contradiction between the urgent needs of developing higher education and the limited financial resources as well as the weak original foundation of higher education. The Independent college is the breakthrough, innovation and standards of school-running model.In the recent ten years, our independent college developed rapidly out from nothing. And there are more than 300 Independent colleges in few years; the number of Students is constantly increasing. The Independent college has been accepted widely through great efforts, Meanwhile, as a new thing,, there are many problems and contradictions during the development of Independent colleges. The Ideological and Political education work had become a urgent subject. It is related to whether the Independent college can cultivate qualified talents and whether it can develop healthy and orderly that how can we carry out the Ideological and Political education work according to the shortage of Independent Colleges and the students; characteristics so that we can improve the students' overall quality and ability in Independent Colleges and provide an effective way to help students' growth.
