Study On Incentive Mechanism Of Career-oriented And Specialization Development For College Counselors

The group of counselors is the organizer and implementer of college student's education, management and services, is the backbone team for college moral education, as well as the important force to promote the student growth and maintain the stability of campus and society. It plays an important role in ideological education and routine management. Professional and career-oriented development is the inevitable developing trends for building the college counselor group, they are helpful to strengthen the building, improve the quality, and strengthen the ideological and political education. At present, the professional and career-oriented construction in Fujian Province is still in the initial stage; its effect is not significant. To explore ways to improve the incentive mechanism, to further develop the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity on work, to promote the professional and career-oriented development for counselors, are worthy of some research.In this paper, questionnaire, interview, and literature research methods are adopted to make the preliminary theoretical study on the incentive mechanism for the professional and career-oriented development of college counselor. This article first makes the definitions about profession and career-oriented, also makes sure the meaning of professional and career-oriented construction of college counselors. Pointing out its necessity and feasibility; Secondly, for the survey of "Study on the construction of specialization and career-oriented of college counselors in Fujian", this article introduces and analyzes the basic situation, as well as the statistical results, analyzing the obstacles to the professional and career-oriented construction; then points out that the incentive mechanism is the important issue for the construction, introduce its meaning, relative theory and study, pointing out the relationship between the mechanism and the construction; Finally, based on the case study, proposing an vision of establishing an sound incentive mechanism as to promote the college counselor's professional and career-oriented level. Target the situation that incentive mechanism is not in place, putting forward the safeguards and relative measures.
