There is a special group in our educational objects——the children of single-parent families. Among them, some of their parents divorced, and some of their father or mother died, even orphaned. They are mainly taken care of by their father (mother), grandparents or other relatives. Currently this special group takes a very considerable proportion among students in Wuhai. Many of them are quite good, but there is also part of them, their living environment has undergone drastic changes, mind suffers a heavy blow because of the breakdown of families or the death of father (mother). Many single-parent students can't face what happen in their family, live with the shadow over their head, induce various adverse emotions and finally form of psychological deviation, which would also refer to learning difficulties.With the development of society and economic in recent years, the divorce rate is rising, at the same time, single-parent children are increasing, which all sound the alarm to the future of education——Not the education of children from single-parent families should be ignored any longer!All the educators should consider how to help children from single families to handle the injury of family tragedies and adjust their attitude, in order to restore psychological balance, promote their healthy development in physic and psychology through education.Based on the in-depth investigation and survey to the 142 single-parent families from 19 junior High Schools in Wuhai and 30 father-killed families during 3.1 mine accident in Camel Hill of Shenhua-Wuhai Energy Company, from the views of educational science, psychology and management, I analyzed impacts from the family, school and society on children of single parent families and discussed the countermeasures in this paper. This article can be divided into three parts:The first part is introduction, mainly discussed the significance of the research and status quo about children in single-parent families. This section also defined some basic concepts involved in the writing process and introduced the basic situation of single parent families at home and abroad. The second part described children's educational problems from single-parent families in Wuhai. The third part discussed measures for children's education in single-parent families in Wuhai, which mainly include five points, raising solving strategies to problems existed in families, schools and society for education of the children in single-parent families;surly optimizing multidimensional social support system; contributing the "trinity" education network combined with family, school and community; creating a good social and psychological environment; established specialized educational organization for children in single-parent families.
