Academic adjustment is that students in the learning process under study conditions changes, take the initiative to make physical adjustments to achieve balance within and outside the learning environment conducive to the development capacity of the state. In general, to meet the balance after the break, the learning needs of production, the role of incentive learning, self-adjustment, the final realization of learning to adapt.Personality trait reflects the tendency of individual behavior more consistent, and stable characteristics of inner experience, characteristics of intrinsic motivation, is the core of dynamic factors of individual behavior. Big Five personality model is widely recognized in recent years, the personality model, including neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness of the five characteristics. Academic self-efficacy in learning in the field of performance, refer to the individual's academic ability belief. Mental health is not only the absence of mental disease or abnormal, is not only good social adaptation refers to the individual, but also refers to the perfect personality and psychological potential into full play, also refers to the objective conditions in a certain state of mind of individuals to play to the best condition.The research on the relationship of pernsonality trait, academic self-efficacy, acadamic adjustment and mental health in college students, help to educators for students of personality traits, self-efficacy and so targeted and purposeful manner of psychological intervention and study guide work, contribute to the healthy development of psychological quality to better meet the social development.In this study, 564 undergraduate students as the research object, using "college students learning to adapt to Scale," "Big Five Personality Inventory," "Academic Self-Efficacy Scale" and "General Health Questionnaire", the use of correlation analysis, variance analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis, to analysis of characteristics and to explore the relationship among personality traits, academic self-efficacy, academic adjustment and mental health. Main conclusions of the research are as following:1. There were significant difference in grade and in gender in academic adjustment in college students. The academic adjustment college students had significant grade difference, significant gender differences, but gender and grade interactive effects was not significant; professional difference was not significant; families where significant differences; only children and the difference was not significant.2. There were significant correlation between academic adjustment and the Big Five. For this group of college students, there were highly significant negative correlation between academic adjustment and neuroticism, and highly significant positive correlation between academic adjustment and extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness.Conscientiousness, extraversion and openness to academic adjustment significant positive prediction, but neuroticism to academic adjustment significant negative prediction.3. There were significant correlation between academic adjustment and academic self-efficacy. Learning behavior self-efficacy and learning motivation, learning ability, learning to adapt to score significantly correlated with environmental factors, significant negative correlation; academic self-efficacy score and motivation, teaching, learning ability, learning attitude, learning to adapt scores were significantly correlated. Learning self-efficacy could predict adaptive learning, learning self-efficacy is higher, the higher the level of learning adaptability.4. There were significant correlation between academic adjustment and mental health. Learning the different dimensions of adaptive mental health effects on different dimensions of teaching in which the prediction of mental health, followed by learning ability, environmental factors and motivation.5. There were significant correlation among the Big Five, academic self-efficacy, academic adjustment and mental health. The Big Five affected mental health directly. At the same time, the Big Five also impacted mental health indirectly through academic self-efficacy and academic adjustment. Academic self-efficacy and academic adjustment had partial mediated effect between Big Five and mental health. Academic adjustment had partial mediated effect between academic self-efficacy and mental health.
