Academic buoyancy is the ability of students to cope with daily, typical and minor academic setbacks and adversities. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept, measurement tools and influencing factors of academic buoyancy,as well as the mechanism of academic buoyancy in predicting mental health and academic achievement,so as to provide scientific basis for students' mental health education. In the first study, senior high school students were taken as the research subjects, and the academic buoyancy questionnaire of senior high school students was compiled by means of literature analysis and questionnaire survey, and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested. In the second study,297 senior high school students were selected as the research subjects, and their academic buoyancy,teacher-student relationship, academic pressure, sense of control(including external control and internal control)and academic buoyancy were measured by questionnaire survey. The influencing factors of academic buoyancy and their predictive effect on mental health and academic achievement were analyzed. The relationship between teachers and students was taken as independent variable and academic buoyancy as intermediary variable, the mediating model with academic stress or internal control as the moderating variables and mental health as the dependent variable. The third study explored the predictive effect of academic buoyancy on academic achievement. The results are as follows:(1)The questionnaire on high school students' academic buoyancy includes five dimensions: confidence, coordination, commitment, problem grasp, and composure. The questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and can be used as a measure of high school students' academic buoyancy.(2)The high school students' academic buoyancy shows a significant difference in gender, with boys significantly higher than girls.(3)There is no significant difference in the academic buoyancy of senior highschool students in each grade.(4)Academic buoyancy has significant positive correlation among teacher-student relationship and sense of control.High school students' academic buoyancy has significant negative correlation among academic pressure and mental health.(5)The academic buoyancy of senior high school students plays an intermediary role between the relationship between teachers and students and the level of mental health. The improvement of the relationship between teachers and students can improve the academic buoyancy of senior high school students, and the improvement of the academic buoyancy can improve the level of mental health of senior high school students.(6)Academic stress and internal control can regulate the intermediary effect of academic buoyancy. The predictive effect of academic buoyancy on mental health increases with the increase of academic stress and internal control.(7)Academic buoyancy has a completely intermediary effect between the relationship between teachers and students and academic achievement. The improvement of the relationship between teachers and students can improve the academic buoyancy of senior high school students, and the improvement of academic buoyancy can also promote the academic achievement of senior high school students.
