| Child PE is an important part of kindergarten education. Scientific and reasonable PE is not only significant for physical and mental development of young child, but also effective to improve quality of our population and to realize the modernization. One of the keys to develop Child PE is to equip it with reasonable PE Apparatus, which offers the necessary condition for Child PE. Therefore the quality of the apparatus has direct impact on quality of Child PE.In this study the author investigates the status of sports equipment in 16 kindergartens of Chaoyang District with integrated methods such as questionnaire survey, expert interviews, mathematical statistics, field surveys etc, in order to understand the status of holding and using as well as the satisfaction grade from teachers and parents to the PE Apparatus. Through analysis the author tries to find out existing problems and restricting factors, finally to put forward suggestions in order to provide a basis for promoting the Child PE Apparatus and improving the quality of Child PE.The Research shows:1 the large apparatus in kindergarten is imbalanced in quantities and kinds as well as type. The large apparatus is mainly made with material of iron, plastic iron mixed, and hard plastic, which increase security risk.2 The quantities and kinds of small apparatus basically meet requirements of teaching. In self-made apparatus high-grade kindergarten is obviously better than low-grade one.3 All the kindergartens can equip and adjust the apparatus based on child character and weather condition. Kindergartens attach the importance to the work of sterilization and maintenance, and teachers have positive towards value of PE Appratus.4 Utilization rate of apparatus is high but a few kindergartens have "image project" phenomena in self-made equipment.25%kindergartes do not allow children to choose apparatus on their own.5 Teachers usually lack knowledge of sports and Child Education, which influence the effective use of apparatus and process of PE. Self-made apparatus in some low-grade kindergarten is not good due to the poor quality of their teachers.6 For teachers and parents satisfaction grade to the Child PE Apparatus is not high, and parents with different education and background pay different attention to it.According to the status quo some suggestions are as follow:1 Beijing should perfect policies and regulations in Child PE Apparatus related field.2 Kindergarten should raise the importance of Child PE, and improve teacher's professionalism and sports knowledge,3 Producer of Child PE Apparatus should collaborate with college and research institute, and raise understanding of child and teachers in order to present the high quality of apparatus. In the meanwhile the producer should try to enhance the social recognition rate by going into the community.4 News, media organizations should increase the publicity of PE Apparatus to create a sound environment for it.5 Responsible departments should strengthen the investment in kindergarten, and give support to the talented producer of Child PE Apparatus... |
