Top Management Team(TMT)is a team including top managers who mainly undertake the strategic decision duty in an organization. TMT has been defined as the core group of an orgnazation that can decide its development and influence its performance. TMT influences enterprise's performance through strategic decision-making process. Whether the strategic decision is correct or not would has an important impact on the organization's long-term development. In the fierce competition, the conflict of TMT often leads to bad decisions and unthinkable losses correspondingly. As a common phenomenon, the conflict among TMT also occurs in private enterprises in mailand China. For those private enterprises, how to manage the conflict among TMT, and consequently to promote a sustainable development and improve corporate performance has become an urgent problem.Based on literature review, this dissertation summarized a model which reflects the relationship between team structure characteristics, TMT conflict and the effectiveness of decision-making. Through description of the conflict in JS Company, the author analyzed the relationship between TMT structure characteristics, TMT conflict and result of the decision on the conflict, which verified the model partially, and discussed the consistent and inconsistent part comparing with the theoretical model.At the same time, this dissertaion attempts to give some advices on the management of TMT and sustainable development of JS Company, and to provide some implication for TMT conflict research in domestic economic context.
