The Study, Based On The Ecological Theory Of Industrial Clusters Homeostasis

Industrial cluster is an advanced form of industrial structure. It is an effective way to enhance regional economic development. With the development of global industrial clusters, industrial cluster theory has become the hot concerning issue of economic geography, industrial economics, management and sociology. Similar to biological community, industrial cluster has many significant ecological characteristics throughout the life cycle—from production, growth, maturity to death. It follows the evolutionary development rules. Therefore, based on the ecological theory, to research the dynamic equilibrium of industrial cluster is of great practical significance in promoting regional economic development.The behavior of industrial cluster has a similarity with biological community in self evolutionary stability. The relevant industries within the community, the number of upstream and downstream enterprises within the same industry's supply chain, the carrying capacity of infrastructure and environment should be in a balanced state, while the input and output with external environment should also be in a balance. This is to maintain industrial cluster's long-term competitive advantage and to enhance the stable evolution and sustainable development.This thesis makes a systematic exposition of industrial cluster and ecological theory. Based on this, it analyzes the ecological properties of industrial clusters from ecological characteristics, ecological behavior and ecological reproductive strategy respectively; From the life cycle theory it approaches the industrial cluster's dynamic performances of different development stages; Through fully exploring the dynamic equilibrium of industrial cluster from the perspectives of co-competitive mechanism, innovative mechanism and trust mechanism, this thesis constructs the population growth model, population competitive model, population mutual benefit model and population predating model of industrial cluster's dynamic equilibrium and analyzes the equilibrium condition through mathematical model.
