Low-carbon Economy, The Industrial Structure

The development of low-carbon economics has been regarded as a strategic transformation to stimulate the global economic recovery, which is another systematic change after twice industrial revolution and information revolution in the world economy. It will be the new path to develop the world economic by stepping up the building of new world economics and industrial structure. As a main fossil energy production and consumption province, how can Shaanxi reduce the emissions of carbon as while as preceding the economic construction better and sooner under the low-carbon economics? The adjustment of low-carbon industrial structure has to be made. From the adjustment of Shaanxi industrial structure under the economic transformation, based on development economics and industrial economics theories, the paper does an in-depth analysis and comprehensive assessment of the path to adjust the industrial structure into low-carbon so as to provide some useful theoretical support for the low carbon economic plan during the next National Twelfth Five-Year Plan period.The paper proposes the background and significance of the topic under the high spirits of environmental protection at first. The paper evaluates the differences between domestic and foreign research, which is based on a comprehensive analysis. Then, using DEA modal, the paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the adjustment of low-carbon industrial structure in Shaanxi, and declare the advantages and disadvantages with the result at the same time separately in main energy consumption industries, economic development, social development, technical development and environment development. In the end, in accordance with the industrial economics theory, the paper gives some proposal for the theoretic reference to low-carbon industrial structure adjustment qualitative and quantities.
