With the development of garment industry information, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is gradually replacing barcode technology in the application of workshop data collection and transmission. Focus of this study is based on the RFID technology to analysis garment production management functions and to design its process optimization modules.This article first study on the related technologies of apparel production management, then, on the basis of the relevant technology, combining the specific example of RFID electronic engineering system of Wuhan Institute of Shangji electronic to analysis functional modules the garment production management system can implemented, and pointed out the shortcomings which in the process optimization. Then, established the model of process scheduling, and adopted genetic algorithm to solve the problem of process staff scheduling, design the selection, crossover and mutation operator of genetic algorithm. By computer-aided process planning to replace the manual, making the garment production lines has been greatly improved efficiency.Finally, integrated the process optimization module into the RFID electronic engineering system of Wuhan Institute of Shangji electronic, and analyzed the investment of the system.
