The concept of project management was firstly proposed in the Manhattan Project during World War II which conducted to develop the first atomic bombs. Project management is quite different from both general business management and non-profit organization management, especially form the aspects of research methods, principles and the prospective of view to consider the issues. With the increasingly extensive applications of project management in all aspects of modern management, project management has gradually formed a relatively complete knowledge system..××corporation, founded in Sep 1997, is a high-tech enterprise exclusively invested by China Electronic Technology Group Co.(CETC), which committed to the R&D and production of military and civilian products.××Measurement and Control Technology Co.Ltd., as one of the seven subsidiaries of CETC, mainly engages in the products of automatic test/measurement and control, mechatronics, general test module, ATE system integration, troubleshooting, precision motion control, semi-physical simulation and so on. It is the largest supplier of VXI bus products and control system integrators in China, as well as one of the very first member companies that got the ID number form International VXI Association. Its comprehensive strength is ahead of the domestic industry. Since its establishment, it has had certain strength with core technology and products due to the technical support from the major shareholder (CETC) and the talent team cultivated by itself, however, it is relatively weak in project management.Recently, the operation scale of this company has been beyond value of a billion RMB per year, and has more than a hundred employees who involve in the fields covering aerospace, ordnance industry, nuclear industry, electronic industry, shipbuilding industry, transport energy and the aspect of colleges. Meanwhile, the company has more than one hundred types of projects. Therefore, it is the distinguishing features that numerous categories while small single-copy number, intensively R&D while small scale production. The emergent issues of××Measurement and Control Technology Co.Ltd. are how to establish a set of project management models suitable for company's situation, enhance core competitiveness, speed up the industrialization process, improve internal management, and develop human resource, and the most important is, how to coordination of all these problems above.Based on the issues about project management of XX measurement and control technology Co., Ltd, this research introduced the knowledge of project management system, five major process groups and nine major knowledge scope firstly. And then, current state of this corporation's project management was illustrated, including organization deployment, human resource management, project management flow, responsibility, right and benefit of project manager.By using cases analysis and data analysis, this research pointed out specific problems existed in XX measurement and control technology Co., which is organization deployment can not promote project management effectively, lack of human resource, project management flow can not be adapted to the development of modern enterprise, serious imbalance of responsibility, right and benefit of manager. Accordingly, regulation and optimization was proposed finally, including, supporting of leaders, formulation and regulation of rules, advocacy and training, optimization of human resource construction.
