Geopark Landscape Planning

As a new form of tourism, the idea of a geopark is to protect geological heritage and support local economic, cultural and environmental sustainable development for the purpose. A geopark provides people with high scientific grade places for sightseeing tourism, holiday rest, health recuperation, science education, and entertainment, it shows the key area with geological relics protection and geological landscape techniques and methods, promoting the ecological construction of the area and popularizing the earth science knowledge, it is also the base of promoting earth science research.Choosing geological park as the research object, this paper bases on analyzing the landscape planning of it, trying to explore how Yunnan Lulan Stone Forest, Yuanmo Soil Forest and Luliang Color Sand Forest meet the change of modern traveling ideas to construct geological parks that can bring tourists appreciation, scientificalness, freshness, and elegance. Around this objective, this thesis contains the following six sections:Part One:introduction. In this part, the writer explains the research background, purpose, meaning, content and methods.Part Two:overview. The paper expounds the general situation of geological park-geological park concept, the significance of establishment and classified types, and it also mentions the related theory of this study:landscape ecology and sustainable development theory.Part Three:the general situation of Yunnan "Three Forests". This paper respectively expounds the scenic profiles, landscape characteristics and value embodiment of Yunnan "Three Forests" in detail.Part Four:analysis of Yunnan "Three Forests" landscape planning. On the basis of analysis for zoning planning, gate area planning, traveling line planning, geological landscape planning, popular science explication system planning and landscape plants planning, the paper combines Yunnan "Three Forests" to have targeted case analysis, and concluses the landscape planning principles of geological park. Part Five:the analysis of the problems and development space of Yunnan Three Forests. According to site investigation and observation on other scholars'relevant research, the paper analyzes the problems existing in man-land relationship of the exploitation and in the development of tourism, what's more, it analyzes the tourism life cycle and the planning countermeasures to further tourism development.Part Six:conclusion. In this part, the writer summarizes the principles of the geological park landscape planning and give some suggestions for Yunnan "Three Forests" landscape planning.Based on the research of geological park landscape planning, the paper puts forward the principles that should be followed in landscape planning of geological park. According to the site investigation of Yunnan "Three Forests", and combining with actual situation, this paper proposes landscape planning recommendations.
