Based On Input-output Tables, Yunnan Province, The Industrial Structure Dynamic Analysis

Nowadays, the developing trend of world economy is becoming more and more bewildering. Facing global financial crisis and economic recession, how to effectively develop the economy of each province has become today's theme. Adjustment of industrial structure may bring about some problems, but in front of financial crisis, it is the high time to select the superior and eliminate the inferior and to promote economic restructuring in our province. Yunnan province is a western province rich in resources but less developed. To rationally treat this global financial crisis, Yunnan province should rebuild and enlarge the chances of demand make use of global financial system, so as its industries can realize effective improvement and development as soon as possible. The main research methods in this paper are as followed:Firstly, analyze and calculate the data according to "Statistical Yearbook of Yunnan Province" in recent years, "Input-Output Table of Yunnan Province in 2007" "Input-Output Table of Yunnan Province in 2002" and "Input-Output Table of Yunnan Province in 1997".Based on relevant theory of national industrial structure, the paper generalize and arrange the data of industrial structure in Yunnan province using input-output analysis. The purpose is to obtain a method to upgrade industrial structure, and give a practical optimize proposal.Secondly, this paper combines input-output analysis, relevant theory of industrial structure and some comprehensive assessment methods to analyze the industrial structure in Yunnan province both quantitatively and qualitatively. This way make the industrial structure more scientific and sustainable, which can offer guidance in adjusting and optimize industrial structure in Yunnan province.Making use of the main kinds of ratio in input-output table, this paper analyze the condition of industrial structure in Yunnan province:the level of economic development is still relatively low, and the ratio among three compositions of industry is 2:3:1. The proportion of primary industry in Yunnan province is higher than national average level, while the proportion of tertiary industry is lightly lower than it. That of the secondary industry is obviously low, and the process of industrialization is much slow as well, which is nearly at the level of evolving from initial stage of industrialization to intermediate period. Then propose some suggestions aiming at this situation.
